By using this website, submitting a request, communicating with SOS or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit information through it.
1. Our role
SOS Construction & Roofing is a Florida-certified building and roofing contractor serving Northwest Florida. We provide construction, roofing, property-service, documentation and maintenance-related services within the capabilities and limits described in the applicable written scope.
SOS is not a public adjuster, insurance company, attorney, engineer, insurer-approved inspector or financial adviser. We do not interpret insurance policies, determine coverage, negotiate claim settlements, guarantee insurance outcomes or provide legal, tax or fiduciary advice. Contact the properly licensed professional for those decisions.
2. Website information and estimates
Website pages are general information and may change as materials, products, codes, conditions, availability and service offerings change. A request for information is not an acceptance of a project.
Pricing, timing and scope become binding only when stated in the applicable written proposal, contract, change order or other signed project document. A proposal is based on the information available at the time. Concealed conditions, unsafe access, weather, permitting, material availability, customer-approved changes and other site conditions may require documented adjustments and approval before additional work proceeds.
3. Scheduling, access and project cooperation
Scheduling depends on approved scope, required deposits or initial payments, financing or authorization when applicable, materials, permits, weather, safe access, labor and project conditions. Customers must provide truthful information, reasonable access and timely decisions. SOS may pause or reschedule work when conditions are unsafe, materially different from the approved scope or outside reasonable control.
Emergency stabilization is intended to reduce immediate exposure when conditions allow. It is not automatically a permanent repair or replacement.
4. Coastal Shield Roofing System and certified records
The Coastal Shield Roofing System is SOS’s enhanced roof-assembly and documentation approach. Depending on the selected roof type, materials, property, permit, manufacturer instructions and written scope, it may include additional water-management, edge, fastening, flashing, inspection and recordkeeping practices. It is not a government certification, an insurance product, a FORTIFIED designation or a promise that an insurer will approve coverage, renewal, discount or claim treatment.
A Coastal Shield Certified designation or record is available only when the applicable written project and documentation requirements are satisfied. The designation identifies an SOS roof-system and maintenance record; it does not create a separate insurance policy, legal guarantee, fiduciary relationship, lender protection or additional legal protection beyond the written contract and warranty documents.
Online roof estimates
Calculator prices are planning estimates, not binding offers or a guarantee of accuracy. Roof area, concealed conditions, materials, local requirements and scope must be verified. Only an issued written agreement states the accepted project price and work. Electronic signing records your express consent and the exact issued document; you may request paper signing before submitting a signature. Mapping features are subject to the Google Maps terms and Google privacy policy.
5. Coastal Shield warranty structure
For qualifying projects, the Coastal Shield structure may combine up to 50 years of manufacturer material protection, standard SOS workmanship coverage, available workmanship extensions and an organized inspection and maintenance history. The current website describes a standard 5-year SOS workmanship warranty and a possible additional 20-year SOS workmanship extension for an active qualifying Home Maintenance Plan, for up to 25 years total under applicable written terms. Eligibility, duration, exclusions, covered obligations, transfer rules, inspection requirements and available options are controlled by the final written warranty documents.
The manufacturer’s product warranty is separate from SOS workmanship coverage. Manufacturer terms, registration requirements, product limitations and exclusions apply. A maintenance plan does not replace a manufacturer warranty, homeowners insurance, a code requirement, a permit, an insurer-approved inspection or a licensed professional’s advice. It is not an added legal or fiduciary protection; it is an ongoing contractor documentation and maintenance program that may support the available warranty scope when the written requirements are satisfied.
6. Coastal Shield Home Maintenance Plan
The Home Maintenance Plan is a contractor-led property-care and documentation service. It may include recurring visits, visible-condition observations, photographs, recommendations, records, maintenance coordination and a clear next action for the roof and broader property. The goal is to help identify issues earlier, support responsible maintenance and extend the useful life of the roof and property where conditions and timely repairs allow.
The plan is not insurance, a warranty by itself, a service contract for every repair, a government certification, a fiduciary service or a promise of a premium reduction, claim approval, roof performance or a specific property value. Repairs, replacement work, specialty testing and third-party inspections are separate unless the written plan says otherwise. Qualifying warranty extensions require an active plan and compliance with the written inspection, payment, maintenance and documentation requirements. Where the written plan requires recurring qualification, inspections are generally scheduled at least every 12 months; the plan documents control.
7. Records, photographs and property history
When included in a project or plan, SOS may maintain inspection notes, photographs, recommendations, invoices, warranty information, maintenance visits and other records related to the property. Records are intended to make future maintenance and service decisions clearer. They do not guarantee that a future buyer, insurer, lender, public adjuster, inspector or government agency will accept them for a particular purpose.
8. Communication and SMS terms
When you provide a phone number and consent to be contacted, SOS may call or text about your request, estimate, inspection, project, maintenance plan, scheduling or related service communication. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
Reply STOP to opt out of text messages or HELP for help. You can also call (850) 598-4891. Text-message consent is not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy for more information.
9. Payments, cancellations and third parties
Payment amounts, deposits, financing, cancellation rights, late charges, change orders, permits, cleanup, warranties and other project obligations are governed by the applicable written agreement. A third-party provider, manufacturer, financing company, inspector, engineer, specialty trade or partner may have separate terms. SOS does not guarantee a third party’s availability, decision, coverage, product performance or response.
10. Website use and intellectual property
You may use this website for lawful personal, property, business or professional inquiry purposes.
